Can Henne has been working as a painter since 2016, but photography and digital imaging have never left him and remain important in his work. He used to immerse himself in different artistic fields for several years, with the ambition to learn the essence of them. And so he is a skilled restaurator, sculptor, set designer, media designer, and digital artist, until he finally got into figurative oil painting. His subjects explore the texture of the human world, psychological states, and the pervasive fabric of reality, with dreamlike moods emerging in composed, fictional spaces and scenarios.
